TRUTH ABOUT DOVES - THE STORY OF NIMROD'S WIFE authored by Janice Moore, the North Carolina artist of the fine art drawing featured above is my fictional story partly based on research of ancient Assyrian and Near Eastern legends in which Sammur-amat is remembered as the legendary wife of Ninus or Nimrod. Perhaps the same as the Greek Semiramis, she is traditionally equated to the Biblical "Queen of Heaven" of Jeremiah 7:18; 44:7-19 & 25.
